COURSE DESCRIPTION

This intermediate/advanced level 8-hour Personal Protection In The Home course is for individuals that have some experience with firearms and want to learn the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, as well as to provide information on the individual’s right to self-defense.

Immediately following the classroom portion we will head out to the range for practical firearms instruction.

Course Requirements:

Students must have one of the following:

-Completed an NRA Basic Pistol or an NRA FIRST Steps Course Certificate

-Have an NRA pistol Competitive Shooting Qualification Card

-Have a Military DD 214 with Pistol Qualification

-Pass a Pre-Course Assessment
